Dissemination and Localization of Early Modern Architecture in Nanjing, China—A Case Study of the National Goods Bank Building

open access: yesBuildings
This paper examines the construction of the National Goods Bank in Nanjing as a case study to investigate the localization of modern architecture in China during the 1930s. Set against the backdrop of Nanjing’s capital construction period (1927–1937), it

Engagement Patterns with an AI Health Coach for Systemic Sclerosis Self‐Management: A Mixed Methods Study

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, Accepted Article.
Objective To evaluate utility of an artificial intelligence (AI) health coach for systemic sclerosis (SSc) self‐management and identify patterns associated with participant engagement. Methods We conducted a mixed‐methods study in which an AI health coach, powered by a large language model (LLM), was used to support self‐management for SSc.

Performance analysis of NSA control plane and user plane delay in 5G network

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2020
Different from 2G/3G/4G,the 5G network architecture contains two parts:NSA (non-standalone) and SA (standalone) networking.NSA can help network deploys faster.Low latency is a very important feature of 5G,and its implementation requires a combination of ...

Revisiting Stability Criteria in Ball‐Milled High‐Entropy Alloys: Do Hume–Rothery and Thermodynamic Rules Equally Apply?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

In-loop Feature Tracking for Structure and Motion with Out-of-core Optimization

open access: yes, 2010
In this paper, a novel and approach for obtaining 3D models from video sequences captured with hand-held cameras is addressed. We define a pipeline that robustly deals with different types of sequences and acquiring devices.
