Formula 2000 Tube Frame Analysis

SAE Technical Paper Series, 1994
<div class="htmlview paragraph">This research outlines a procedure for analyzing the torsional stiffness of a tube frame chassis design. The analysis utilizes finite element model simulation of the tube frame to identify areas where existing member stiffness could be increased or where new members could be added to result in a significant ...

100-ps framing-camera tube

Review of Scientific Instruments, 1978
The optoelectronic framing-camera tube described is capable of recording two-dimensional image frames with high spatial resolution in the &lt;100-ps range. Framing is performed by streaking a two-dimensional electron image across narrow slits. The resulting dissected electron line images from the slits are restored into framed images by a restorer ...

Framing Connections for Square Structural Tubing

Journal of the Structural Division, 1966
Five types of simple connections for framing beams into square and rectangular structural steel tubular columns are treated. Two types were adequate in all respects—the conventional angle seat, and a connection made by welding a length of structural tee to the tube face.

Two-stage solution for framed tube buildings

Computers & Structures, 1994
A two-stage solution procedure is presented for the lateral load analysis of framed tubes. In the first stage dual shape functions and Gauss elimination solution are used to obtain an approximate solution. In the second stage a Gauss-Seidel iterative solution is used to obtain an accurate solution.

Framing camera tube for subnanosecond imaging applications

Review of Scientific Instruments, 1983
A dissector/restorer-type framing camera tube has been characterized with a Nd:YAG mode-locked laser. The three-frame format tube, referenced to the photocathode, has a 5×5-mm field of view and 0.3-ns duration frames with better than 5 lp/mm spatial resolution.

SPECTACLE FRAME HOLDER FOR LEVIN TUBE

JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association, 1941
The frequent and increasing use of indwelling gastric and intestinal tubes for gavage, lavage, aspiration and drainage has suggested an improvement in the customary method of holding the catheter near the mouth or nose. The use of adhesive plaster is both unsightly and uncomfortable and often causes skin irritation.

Economical analysis of large framed-tube structures

Building Science, 1974
Abstract A simplified method is presented for the analysis of framed-tube structures when subjected to bending due to lateral loading, which proves to be very economical with large structures. The method consists in replacing the three-dimensional tube by an equivalent two-dimensional system.

Simple Model for Design of Framed‐Tube Structures

Journal of Structural Engineering, 1991
A very simple model for the analysis and design of framed‐tube structures subjected to lateral loads is presented here. The structure is modeled as a series of stringers and shear panels. The elegance of the method lies not only in the simplicity and the accuracy of the method but also in the fact that all the necessary parameters are kept in the model

Hohlkasten aus Rahmen (Framed Tubes)

1980
