Machine stability and dosimetry for ultra‐high dose rate FLASH radiotherapy human clinical protocol
Abstract Background The FLASH effect, induced by ultra‐high dose rate (UHDR) irradiations, offers the potential to spare normal tissue while effectively treating tumors. It is important to achieve precise and accurate dose delivery and to establish reliable detector systems, particularly for clinical trials needed to help the clinical transfer of FLASH‐

Bertrand framed surfaces in the Euclidean 3-space and its applications [PDF]
A framed surface is a smooth surface in the Euclidean space with a moving frame. By using the moving frame, we can define Bertrand framed surfaces as the same idea as Bertrand framed curves. Then we find the caustics and involutes as Bertrand framed surfaces.

On wovenness of K-fusion frames [PDF]
In frame theory literature, there are several generalizations of frame, K-fusion frame presents a flavour of one such generalization, basically it is an intertwined replica of K-frame and fusion frame. K-fusion frames come naturally (having significant applications) when one needs to reconstruct functions (signals) from a large data in the range of a ...

Abstract Purpose In radiation oncology, the integration and registration of multiple imaging modalities is a crucial aspect of the diagnosis and treatment planning process. These images are often inherently registered, a useful feature in most cases, but possibly a hindrance when registration modifications are required.

Abstract The establishment of guidelines and curriculum standards for medical physics residency training is a critical component of setting expectations and competencies for the profession. Since the last publication of these standards, residency training has become integrated into the eligibility criteria for most medical physics certification bodies.

Tight frame approximation for multi-frames and super-frames
AbstractWe consider a generator Φ=(φ1,…,φN) for either a multi-frame or a super-frame generated under the action of a projective unitary representation for a discrete countable group. Examples of such frames include Gabor multi-frames, Gabor super-frames and frames for shift-invariant subspaces. We show that there exists a unique normalized tight multi-

Abstract Purpose This study aims to evaluate how different gantry angles, breathing rates (BPM), cine image speeds, and tracking algorithms affect beam on/off latency and the subsequent impact on target dose for a 0.35T MR‐Linac with a 6 MV FFF beam.

Algorithmic constructions of unitary matrices and tight frames [PDF]
We give a number of algorithms for constructing unitary matrices and tight frames with specialized properties. These were produced at the request of researchers at the Frame Research Center (www.framerc.org) to help with their research on fusion frames, the Kadison-Singer Problem and equiangular tight frames.
