A Termite‐Inspired Alternative to Cement
A termite‐inspired composite of clay, cellulose, and lignin forms a dense fibrous network with concrete‐like strength (32 MPa) and superior elasticity, processed at ambient temperature. Abstract Clay combined with organic materials is used by termites as a strong and durable construction material for their mounds with minimal environmental impact. Here,

The Coase Theorem, or the Coasian Lens? An Application to GMO Regulation [PDF]
We develop a property rights-transaction costs framework called the Coasian Lens (CL). We argue the CL captures Coase's seminal ideas (1937; 1960) more closely than the Coase Theorem.

In Situ Study of Resistive Switching in a Nitride‐Based Memristive Device
In situ TEM biasing experiment demonstrates the volatile I‐V characteristic of MIM lamella device. In situ STEM‐EELS Ti L2/L3 ratio maps provide direct evidence of the oxygen vacancies migrations under positive/negative electrical bias, which is critical for revealing the RS mechanism for the MIM lamella device.

Coercion, Contract and the Limits of the Market [PDF]
It is a widely accepted principle of economics that if two or more adults voluntarily agree to a contract or an exchange that has no negative fall-out on others, then the government should not stop such a contract.

Regulatory Contracts and Framework Contracts in Contemporary Private Law

A multivalent antiviral platform based on honeycomb‐shaped DNA nanostructures (HC–Urumin) is developed to enhance the potency and breadth of the host defense peptide Urumin. Through spatially patterned trimeric presentation, HC–Urumin disrupts influenza A virus entry, improves cell viability, and reduces disease severity in vivo‐offering a modular and ...

Why royalties ? Evidence from French distribution networks [PDF]
This empirical note deals with the contractual design of relationships in distribution networks. In the framework of agency theory, I study the royalty rate as an incentive device for the upstream firm in maintaining brand-name value, using recent French

Charge‐Induced Morphing Gels for Bioinspired Actuation
This study introduces a novel electroactive actuation mechanism that enables the gel material to generate substantial and reversible shape‐changing while preserving topological and isochoric (volumetric) equivalence. The resultant morphing behaviors can mimic the movements of muscle‐driven organelles in nature, including cilia‐like beating and ...

The graphical abstract illustrates the synthesis pathway, morphological feature, and thermodynamic feasibility of entropy‐engineered NASICON cathodes for sodium‐ion batteries. Abstract Overcoming the energy density limitations of sodium‐ion batteries (NIBs) requires innovative strategies to optimize cathode materials.
