Three‐dimensional geometric morphometric analysis of diaphragmatic dome motion in COPD patients
Abstract Diaphragmatic dysfunction is a hallmark of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), especially in emphysema, where hyperinflation alters diaphragm geometry and impairs inspiratory mechanics. However, quantitative three‐dimensional (3D) assessments of diaphragmatic dome shape and motion across COPD phenotypes are limited.

Craniofacial growth, modeling, and estimation of milestones
Abstract Understanding craniofacial growth is foundational for research into intra‐ and interspecies variation, evolution, and clinical care. The Craniofacial Growth Consortium Study (CGCS), combines cephalographs from historical growth studies to create a dense longitudinal record of growth from 6 to 22 years of age.

Abstract The heart is the central organ of the cardiovascular system. The myocardium is composed of a three‐dimensional network of fibers arranged in clockwise and counterclockwise helices, which are essential for proper cardiac contraction. This study aimed to describe the stratigraphic and morpho‐functional pattern of the porcine myocardium to ...

Purpose To determine whether magnetic resonance imaging‐based measurements of the deep layer, specifically the shift angle and medial retraction, can predict intraoperative reparability of large‐to‐massive rotator cuff tears. Methods This retrospective study included patients who underwent arthroscopic repair of large‐to‐massive rotator cuff tears ...
