Comprehensive Study on Quantitative Evaluation of Oral Muscle Tissue in Children With Low Tongue Posture Using Cone Beam Computed Tomography: A Comprehensive Study on Nasal Ventilation Conditions Using Computational Fluid Dynamics

open access: yesJournal of Oral Rehabilitation, Volume 53, Issue 7, Page 1337-1346, July 2026.
Measurement of nasal airway computed fluid dynamics, muscle‐fat tissue analysis in this study. Four typical examples illustrating the relationship between low tongue posture, nasal ventilation condition, and perioral muscle‐fat tissue are demonstrated in this study. A.

Predictive Value of TMJ Tomographic Parameters for Hypermobility‐Related Outcomes and Mouth Opening Capacity

open access: yesJournal of Oral Rehabilitation, Volume 53, Issue 7, Page 1363-1370, July 2026.
Tomographic TMJ parameters showed limited predictive value for hypermobility‐related outcomes. Male sex was consistently associated with greater mouth opening, while increased age reduced the odds of TMJ subluxation. Structural imaging features demonstrated weak associations with functional measures, reinforcing the multifactorial nature of TMJ ...

Austere Moral Ecologies and Artificial Agents

open access: yesModern Theology, Volume 42, Issue 3, Page 592-611, July 2026.
Abstract There are underappreciated moral costs for deploying artificially intelligent agents in our present bureaucratically and market‐structured world. Currently, AI systems lack the interiority and mutual vulnerability required for genuine moral relationality.

Provenance legacies override species effects in shaping oak rhizosphere microbiomes and metabolomes

open access: yesNew Phytologist, Volume 251, Issue 1, Page 488-504, July 2026.
Graphical representation of experimental setup. Quercus spp. seeds were collected at two origins: upper Rhine basin (URB) and north German lowland (NGL). Summary As climate change drives more frequent drought‐heat extremes, selecting drought‐tolerant trees is crucial for future forest resilience. However, the role of tree–microbial associations remains

Kinetic Fingerprints as Mechanistic and Clinical Roadmaps Across KIT Activation States

open access: yesChemMedChem, Volume 21, Issue 11, 15 June 2026.
Kinetic profiling of 172 compounds across KIT conformations—including D816V—reveals kinetic fingerprints that predict efficacy, selectivity, resistance, and inhibitors’ ability to stabilize key regulatory elements. Far from a secondary metric, binding kinetics provide mechanistic insights beyond affinity, offering a powerful framework for rational drug
