Advanced Science, EarlyView.An electro‐templating strategy directs the relaxation of cholesteric finger loops into discrete concentric rings whose geometry is electrically programmed. The photopolymerized structures retain the topological defect pattern and, upon heating, show reversible, castle‐like surface modulation.

Quantum‐Like Dynamics in Whole‐Brain Models of the Human Connectome
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Quantum‐like dynamics in the human brain. The level of quantum‐like behavior in a non‐quantum system of coupled oscillators is regulated by the spectral gap of the coupling graph. Whole‐brain modelling using QL fits the empirical data significantly better and has a lower model‐derived energy cost than the non‐QL model.

Switching Spike Plasticity Shapes ACE2 Engagement Across SARS‐CoV‐2 Variants
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Conformational plasticity governs SARS‐CoV‐2 spike function and ACE2 recognition. Using high‐speed AFM and single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we analyzed the ancestral spike and nine variants, revealing progressive rigidification from Delta, variable plasticity in Omicron sublineages, and JN.1 compaction.
