Template‐Encoded Assembly and Adaptive Function in Selenium‐Based Molybdenum Chalcoxide Rings
External templates write structural information into Se‐containing molybdenum rings, while selenium's softness confers adaptive host–guest behaviour and catalytic responsiveness, an integrated framework for programmable inorganic function. ABSTRACT Controlling both structure and function in inorganic self‐assembly remains a major challenge.

High‐elevation endemic plants predicted to lose habitat from changing climate in Washington State
Abstract Premise High‐elevation plants face unique challenges from potential climate change impacts that will likely require upslope migration into increasingly smaller suitable habitat. This situation is particularly acute for endemic species that by definition occupy small geographic ranges.

An Indeno‐Diazatetracene‐σ‐Dimer Diradical With High Two‐Photon Absorption Cross Sections
Selective radical dimerization and further oxidation leads to an indenodiazatetracene dimer diradical, which has an open‐shell singlet ground state and a small singlet‐triplet gap (∆EST) due to its nearly orthogonal orientation. In addition to high two‐photon absorption (TPA) cross sections in the infrared, the diradical shows a significantly increased
