Mixed type of Fredholm-Volterra integral equation

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 2005
In this paper, under certain conditions, the solution of mixed type of Fredholm-Volterra integral equation is discussed and obtained in the space L_2 (−1, 1) × C[0, T ], T < ∞.

A new hybrid orthonormal Bernstein and improved block-pulse functions method for solving mathematical physics and engineering problems

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2020
In this paper, numerical solution of the linear second kind Fredholm integral equations is studied. These integral equations are widely used for solving many problems in mathematical physics and engineering.

Degree theory for 4‐dimensional asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 79, Issue 5, Page 1151-1298, May 2026.
Abstract We develop a new degree theory for 4‐dimensional, asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons. Our theory implies the existence of gradient expanding solitons that are asymptotic to any given cone over S3$S^3$ with non‐negative scalar curvature. We also obtain a similar existence result for cones whose link is diffeomorphic to S3/Γ$S^3/\

Computation of semi-analytical solutions of fuzzy nonlinear integral equations

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
In this article, we use a fuzzy number in its parametric form to solve a fuzzy nonlinear integral equation of the second kind in the crisp case. The main theme of this article is to find a semi-analytical solution of fuzzy nonlinear integral equations. A

Fredholm's Minors of Arbitrary Order: Their Representations as a Determinant of Resolvents and in Terms of Free Fermions and an Explicit Formula for Their Functional Derivative

open access: yes, 2004
We study the Fredholm minors associated with a Fredholm equation of the second type. We present a couple of new linear recursion relations involving the $n$th and $n-1$th minors, whose solution is a representation of the $n$th minor as an $n\times n ...

Approximate Solution of Some Classes of Integral Equations Using Bernstein Polynomials of Two-Variables

open access: yesمجلة بغداد للعلوم, 2012
The research aims to find approximate solutions for two dimensions Fredholm linear integral equation. Using the two-variables of the Bernstein polynomials we find a solution to the approximate linear integral equation of the type two dimensions.

Potential Integral Equations in Electromagnetics

open access: yes, 2017
In this work, a new integral equation (IE) based formulation is proposed using vector and scalar potentials for electromagnetic scattering. The new integral equations feature decoupled vector and scalar potentials that satisfy Lorentz gauge.

Partial Differential Equations as Three-Dimensional Inverse Problem of Moments [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We considerer partial differential equations of second order, for example the Klein-Gordon equation, the Poisson equation, on a region E= (a1, b1)x(a2, b2)x(a3, b3).

Feedback control of excitability and high K+ induced epileptiform bursts in male rat hippocampal slices with a photocaged adenosine A1 receptor agonist

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, Volume 183, Issue 10, Page 2578-2591, May 2026.
Background and Purpose Adenosine is a potent regulator of neurotransmission and neuronal excitability, through activation of Gi coupled adenosine A1 receptors (A1Rs). Adenosine has gained interest as an anticonvulsant because of its endogenous involvement in ending seizure activity, but peripheral side effects require local application.

Nonlinear Fredholm Integral Equation of the Second Kind with Quadrature Methods

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Extension, 2010
In this paper, a numerical method for solving the nonlinear Fredholm integral equation is presented. We intend to approximate the solution of this equation by quadrature methods and by doing so, we solve the nonlinear Fredholm integral equation more ...
