Associative rigidity in free and controlled association [PDF]
The purpose of the study was to investigate the feasibility of repetitiveness of associations to the same stimulus words as a measure of associative rigidity and to determine the correlation between rigidity scores in free association and controlled association tasks.

On Free Differentials on Associative Algebras [PDF]
A free differential for an arbitrary associative algebra is defined as a differential with a uniqueness property. The existence problem for such a differential is posed. The notion of optimal calculi for given commutation rules is introduced and an explicit construction of it for a homogenous case is provided. Some examples are presented.

Limited evidence of morphology in semantic and phonological free association tasks
Free association (e.g., what is the first word that comes to mind when given a cue word) can reveal multiple linguistic relationships between cues and responses, even when a specific association (i.e., semantic, phonological) is intended.

A cancellation conjecture for free associative algebras [PDF]
We develop a new method to deal with the Cancellation Conjecture of Zariski in different environments. We prove the conjecture for free associative algebras of rank two. We also produce a new proof of the conjecture for polynomial algebras of rank two over fields of zero characteristic.

The association between levels of socio-economic status and fibrin network architecture in women aged between 35 and 44 years [PDF]
ThesisProspective epidemiological studies from 1980 to 1989 accumulated evidence of a possible relationship between cardiovascular disease and plasma fibrinogen concentration.

What is and What Does Free Association Measure?
What we find interesting is the complete absence of attempts to model the nature of free association as a memory task. This deficiency is puzzling given the current interest in implicit memory which often depends on contrasting free association and cued ...
