Stabilization of convective instability in micropolar fluid model by feedback control strategy subjected to internal heat source [PDF]
This investigation reports on a stability analysis of Rayleigh-Benard convection in a horizontal of micropolar fluid layer heated from below. The effect of a feedback control strategy on the onset of steady convection in the presence of internal heat ...

Hydrodynamics and magnetohydrodynamic simulations of hot accretion flow have indicated that there is an inward decreasing of mass accretion rate with decreasing radius. Consequently, we have a flatter density profile ($\rho \propto r^{-p}$ with $p\propto

We fabricated a biomimetic dendrimer‐modified thin‐film nanocomposite membrane with a coordination‐assisted ion‐selective interface. pH‐responsive polypeptide sites preferentially bind Mg2+ and promote Li+ permeation, as predicted by density functional theory calculations of metal‐ligand interactions.

Electrocrystallization in microgravity [PDF]
Electrocrystallization under microgravity conditions is proposed as a potential method of crystallization that would be almost completely free of fluid convection.

Drug‐Free Thrombolysis Mediated by Physically Activated Micro/Nanoparticles
Overview of particle‐mediated thrombolytic effects (thermal, mechanical, and chemical) and their activating physical stimuli (light, ultrasound, and magnetic field) in drug‐free thrombolysis. ABSTRACT Thrombus‐associated disorders rank among the world's leading causes of death, with ischemic heart disease and stroke as the main contributors.

Impact of Low- or High-Permeability Inclusion on Free Convection in a Porous Medium
Density-driven free convection in porous media is highly affected by large-scale heterogeneity, typical of which are low- or high-permeability inclusions imbedded in homogeneous porous media.
