Providing Data Samples for Free
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2020We consider the problem of a seller of data who sells information to a buyer regarding an unknown (to both parties) state of the world. Traditionally, the literature explores one-round strategies for selling information because of the seller’s holdup problem: once a portion of the data set is released, the buyer’s estimate improves, and as a result ...

Data-Based Control of a Free-Free Beam in the Presence of Uncertainty
2007 American Control Conference, 2007System uncertainty can arise from a number of sources including disturbances, noise, unmodeled dynamics, and nonlinearities. Linear control design techniques typically neglect uncertainty in the system response. This may result in a reduction in performance or even instability of the closed loop system.

Abstract The increasing popularity of both small and large private clouds and expanding public clouds poses new requirements to data center (DC) architectures. First, DC architectures should be incrementally scalable allowing the creation of DCs of arbitrary size with consistent performance characteristics.
