V‐NeuroStack: Open‐source 3D time stack software for identifying patterns in neuronal data
Abstract Understanding functional correlations between the activities of neuron populations is vital for the analysis of neuronal networks. Analyzing large‐scale neuroimaging data obtained from hundreds of neurons simultaneously poses significant visualization challenges.

Results of free yaw tests of the Mod-O 100 kilowatt wind turbine [PDF]
Tests were conducted on the Mod-O 100 kW experimental wind turbine to provide data on yaw alignment characteristics of a large horizontal axis wind turbine with its yaw restraint removed (i.e., in free yaw).

Abstract Background The use of biologics may be indicated for alveolar ridge preservation (ARP) and reconstruction (ARR), and implant site development (ISD). The present systematic review aimed to analyze the effect of autologous blood‐derived products (ABPs), enamel matrix derivative (EMD), recombinant human platelet‐derived growth factor‐BB (rhPDGF ...

Noise characteristics of jet flap type exhaust flows [PDF]
An experimental investigation of the aerodynamic noise and flow field characteristics of internal-flow jet-augmented flap configurations (abbreviated by the term jet flap throughout the study) is presented.

Forecast Linear Augmented Projection (FLAP): A free lunch to reduce forecast error variance [PDF]
A novel forecast linear augmented projection (FLAP) method is introduced, which reduces the forecast error variance of any unbiased multivariate forecast without introducing bias. The method first constructs new component series which are linear combinations of the original series. Forecasts are then generated for both the original and component series.

The mucosal released‐coronally advanced flap: A novel surgical approach—A case report
Abstract Background The coronally advanced flap (CAF) can be a predictable surgical technique for the treatment of gingival recessions. However, the characteristics of the defect (e.g., limited amount of keratinized gingiva or flap tension, etc.) may limit the use of the CAF with a possible requirement of additional surgical interventions (i.e., the ...

Repeatable Energy-Efficient Perching for Flapping-Wing Robots Using Soft Grippers [PDF]
With the emergence of new flapping-wing micro aerial vehicle (FWMAV) designs, a need for extensive and advanced mission capabilities arises. FWMAVs try to adapt and emulate the flight features of birds and flying insects. While current designs already achieve high manoeuvrability, they still almost entirely lack perching and take-off abilities.

The wingspan suspension approach: A modified semilunar technique for multiple areas of recession
Abstract Background Gingival recession can be considered an undesirable condition that results in the exposure of the root surface. There are many techniques that can be employed to address gingival recession; however, they frequently involve a second surgical site.

Dimensional optimization of single-DOF planar rigid link-flapping mechanisms for high lift and low power [PDF]
Rigid link flapping mechanisms remain the most practical choice for flapping wing micro-aerial vehicles (MAVs) to carry useful payloads and onboard batteries for free flight due to their long-term durability and reliability. However, to achieve high agility and maneuverability-like insects-MAVs with these mechanisms require significant weight reduction.

Abstract Background This study presents the diagnois, management, and tissue response to an acute periodontal lesion with deep pocketing affecting a maxillary central incisor in a young patient devoid of caries or a history of periodontitis. Methods Clinical and radiographic examinations facilitated the diagnosis of the pathology as an endoperiodontal ...
