RAMUS: Printable, Mechanically‐Tunable and Biodegradable Cellulose‐Mediated Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Ramus, a Latin term meaning “branch,” develops large‐scale, ambient conditions additively manufactured, and biodegradable cellulose‐based biomaterial composites able to mediate their structural capacity from micro to macroscale. Abstract Ramus develops large‐scale, ambient conditions additively manufactured, and biodegradable cellulose‐based ...

Phase Transformation and Water Adsorption Behavior of As‐Deposited and Annealed Ru Metal Thin Films Prepared by Atomic Layer Deposition

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
The figure illustrates how thin Ru films deposited by atomic layer deposition transform into ruthenium oxide when heated between 400 and 600 °C. It shows the structural changes tracked using AFM, XPS (lab‐based and tender X‐ray), and XRD, highlighting how each technique probes different depths to reveal oxidation, surface evolution, and film ...

Millisecond‐Switching Dual‐Band/Dual‐Polarization Ka‐Band Wavefront Control Enabled by a Complementary Liquid‐Crystal Metasurface

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
An LCD‐compatible complementary liquid‐crystal metasurface delivers dual‐band, dual‐polarized Ka‐band wavefront control with millisecond switching via a 10‐µm LC gap. Interlaced patch/slot pairs enable independent phase tuning at 28 and 38 GHz, while strategic 45° slot rotation suppresses parasitic resonances. Measurements on a 160 × 160‐cell prototype
