Hubble constant and dark energy inferred from free-form determined time delay distances

open access: yes, 2013
Time delays between multiple images of lensed sources can probe the geometry of the universe. We propose a novel method based on free-form modelling of gravitational lenses to estimate time-delay distances and, in turn, cosmological parameters.

Improved Outcomes for Older Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults With Neuroblastoma in the Post‐Immunotherapy Era: An Updated Report From the International Neuroblastoma Risk Group

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background We describe clinical and biologic characteristics of neuroblastoma in older children, adolescents, and young adults (OCAYA); describe survival outcomes in the post‐immunotherapy era; and identify if there is an age cut‐off that best discriminates outcomes.

Kajian Sketsa Digital dalam Proses Reka-Struktur Bentuk-Bentuk Surface

open access: yesComTech, 2013
Free form surface has a multiple complexity curve intrinsically, so that special approach is needed to form the structure. Geodesic shell is well-known as the shortest path between two points on a curved surface.

Free Abelian 2-Form Gauge Theory: BRST Approach

open access: yes, 2008
We discuss various symmetry properties of the Lagrangian density of a four (3 + 1)-dimensional (4D) free Abelian 2-form gauge theory within the framework of Becchi-Rouet-Stora-Tyutin (BRST) formalism. The present free Abelian gauge theory is endowed with

Developmental Disorders in Children Recently Diagnosed With Cancer

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Neurocognitive deficits in adult survivors of childhood cancer are well established, but less is known about developmental disorders (DD) arising shortly after cancer diagnosis. Using 2016–2019 linked Ohio cancer registry and Medicaid data, we compared DD among 324 children with cancer and 606,913 cancer‐free controls.

The anti-tumor efficacy of nanoparticulate form of ICD-85 versus free form

open access: yesArchives of Razi Institute, 2015
Biodegradable polymeric nanoparticles (NPs) have been intensively studied as a possible way to enhance anti-tumor efficacy while reducing side effects. ICD-85, derived from the venom of two separate species of venomous animals, has been shown to exhibit ...

Equivalence of the Falicov-Kimball and Brandt-Mielsch forms for the free energy of the infinite-dimensional Falicov-Kimball model

open access: yes, 2002
Falicov and Kimball proposed a real-axis form for the free energy of the Falicov-Kimball model that was modified for the coherent potential approximation by Plischke. Brandt and Mielsch proposed an imaginary-axis form for the free energy of the dynamical

Characterizing Parental Concerns About Lasting Impacts of Treatment in Children With B‐Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background B‐acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B‐ALL) is the most common pediatric cancer, and while most children in high‐resource settings are cured, therapy carries risks for long‐term toxicities. Understanding parents’ concerns about these late effects is essential to guide anticipatory support and inform evolving therapeutic approaches ...

MATCHING STRUCTURES WITH FORM BIREFRINGENCE WITH FREE SPACE IN THZ RANGE [PDF]

open access: yesРадиофизика и электроника, 2015
When constructing polarization radio measuring paths operating in the THz frequency range (0.1…10 THz) the differential phase sections (DPS) are widely used. The use of terahertz waves (THz) allows research in radio astronomy, radio spectroscopy, biology,
