ABSTRACT Background L‐asparaginase is a critical component in treatment protocols for pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Acute pancreatitis reactions can necessitate delays and, in some cases, discontinuation of L‐asparaginase, which compromises outcomes.

Finite groups with star-free noncyclic graphs
For a finite noncyclic group G, let Cyc(G) be the set of elements a of G such that 〈a, b〉 is cyclic for each b of G. The noncyclic graph of G is a graph with the vertex set G ∖ Cyc(G), having an edge between two distinct vertices x and y if 〈x, y〉 is not

ABSTRACT Purpose Malignant rhabdoid tumor of the kidney (MRTK) is a rare, aggressive tumor seen in young children. The optimal timing of resection for locally advanced tumors is not well‐defined. The purpose of this study is to evaluate modern oncologic outcomes and the impact of surgical timing. Methods A multicenter retrospective review was performed

Free products of topological groups and $M$-equivalence
In the paper we apply free products of topological groups for investigating the $M$-equivalence of Tychonoff spaces which are infinite disjoint sums of its subspaces. The main result is the following: Let $X=\overset{\infty}{\underset{i=1}{\oplus}}X_{i}$

Characters of symmetric groups in terms of free cumulants and Frobenius coordinates [PDF]
Free cumulants are nice and useful functionals of the shape of a Young diagram, in particular they give the asymptotics of normalized characters of symmetric groups $\mathfrak{S}(n)$ in the limit $n \to \infty$.

We exhibit free-by-cyclic groups containing non-free locally-free subgroups, including some word hyperbolic examples. We also show that these groups are not subgroup separable.

MYCN Amplification in RB1‐Inactivated Retinoblastoma: Association With High‐Risk Features
ABSTRACT Background MYCN amplification occurs in a subset of retinoblastoma cases, both with and without RB1 inactivation. It has been suggested that retinoblastomas with MYCN amplification represent a distinct entity with more aggressive clinical behavior.

Finite groups whose order graph is C4-free [PDF]
Given a finite group G , the order graph of G, denoted by S(G), is a graph whose vertex set is G, and two distinct vertices a and b are adjacent if o(a) | o(b) or o(b) | o(a), where o(a), and o(b), are the orders of a and b in G, respectively.

ABSTRACT Introduction Patients with ovarian cancer often present with massive ascites, leading to significant protein loss during surgical procedures. Although cell‐free concentrated ascites reinfusion therapy (CART) is used in palliative settings to mitigate protein loss, its application in intraoperative settings remains unexplored.

Homology stability for outer automorphism groups of free groups
We prove that the quotient map from Aut(F_n) to Out(F_n) induces an isomorphism on homology in dimension i for n at least 2i+4. This corrects an earlier proof by the first author and significantly improves the stability range. In the course of the proof,
