Rigidity percolation in a field [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Rev. E68 (2003) 056104, 2003
Rigidity Percolation with g degrees of freedom per site is analyzed on randomly diluted Erdos-Renyi graphs with average connectivity gamma, in the presence of a field h. In the (gamma,h) plane, the rigid and flexible phases are separated by a line of first-order transitions whose location is determined exactly.

Evaluation of the system accuracy of frameless stereotactic radiosurgery using a combination of cone beam CT, six degrees of freedom couch, and surface image‐guided systems

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose This study aims to evaluate the accuracy of the frameless linear accelerator‐based stereotactic radiosurgery (FSRS) system incorporating cone‐beam CT (CBCT), six degrees of freedom (6‐DoF) couch, room laser, and surface image‐guided (SG) systems.

Modified expansion law with Kodama-Hayward temperature for the horizon [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
The expansion law proposed by Padmanabhan suggests that the evolution of the volume of the horizon is due to the difference between the degrees of freedom on the horizon and the degrees of freedom in the bulk enclosed by the horizon. In formulating this law, Padmanabhan used the temperature, $T=H/2\pi$, for a dynamical expansion.

The density of states of classical spin systems with continuous degrees of freedom [PDF]

open access: yesPhys. Rev. E 71, 056705 (2005), 2005
In the last years different studies have revealed the usefulness of a microcanonical analysis of finite systems when dealing with phase transitions. In this approach the quantities of interest are exclusively expressed as derivatives of the entropy $S = \ln \Omega$ where $\Omega$ is the density of states.

Using deep learning generated CBCT contours for online dose assessment of prostate SABR treatments

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, EarlyView.
Abstract Prostate Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy (SABR) is an ultra‐hypofractionated treatment where small setup errors can lead to higher doses to organs at risk (OARs). Although bowel and bladder preparation protocols reduce inter‐fraction variability, inconsistent patient adherence still results in OAR variability.
