The separation of Helium gas from natural gas is challenging but highly important. MIL‐116(Ga), a “non‐porous” metal–organic framework is used as a molecular sieve to separate He from CH4. Druse‐like MIL‐116(Ga) particles are integrated into polysulfone mixed matrix membranes.

Freeze cast support for hydrogen separation membrane
BaCe0.65Zr0.20Y0.15O3-delta - Gd0.2Ce0.8O2-delta (BCZY-GDC) membranes have received increasing attention for their full H-2 selectivity, high thermal and chemical stability, and intrinsic lower cost respect the Pd-based technology. The microstructure of the substrate plays a fundamental role to increase the gas diffusivity through the porous support ...

This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.
