SFFNet: A Wavelet-Based Spatial and Frequency Domain Fusion Network for Remote Sensing Segmentation

IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing
To fully utilize spatial information for segmentation and address the challenge of handling areas with significant grayscale variations in remote sensing segmentation, we propose the spatial and frequency domain fusion network (SFFNet) framework.

The Ultrahigh-Frequency Domain

Transactions of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, 1937
Use of ultrahigh frequencies for educational broadcasting has been thought to offer attractive possibilities because of the supposedly almost unlimited number of channels; however, the demands of other radio services, particularly television, may be expected to congest this newly opened region. Ultrahigh-frequency waves behave somewhat like light waves,

Frequency domain analysis

2016 8th International Conference on Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence (ECAI), 2016
In this paper it is presented the second stage analysis used to determine the signal quality coefficient for vibro-acoustic signals. After successfully determining the integrity coefficient in the “first stage analysis on determining the Signal Quality Coefficient in vibro-acoustic domain-waveform integrity analysis” paper a second and deeper analysis ...

Frequency-Domain and Spatial-Domain Reconfigurable Metasurface.

ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, 2020
The recently proposed digital reconfigurable metasurfaces make it possible to manipulate the electromagnetic (EM) waves flexibly. But most existing reconfigurable metasurfaces can only exhibit relatively single performance in the spatial domain. Here, we

The relationship between energy consumption, economic growth, and CO2 emission in MENA countries: Causality analysis in the frequency domain

Energy, 2019
The study investigates the causal relationship between energy consumption, economic growth, and CO2 emission through both single- and multi-country Granger causality analysis in the frequency domain considering eight oil-rich MENA countries; namely ...

Strict Passivity in the Frequency Domain

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1992
Abstract The notion of strict passivity is defined for systems represented by a set of differential equations. An equivalent definition is formulated in frequency domain terms. The paper shows that the considered systems are strictly passive if and only if a corresponding J-Iossless matrix can be constructed. Several examples are included.

Forecast Combination in the Frequency Domain

SSRN Electronic Journal, 2023
Predictability is time and frequency dependent. We propose a new forecasting method - forecast combination in the frequency domain - that takes this fact into account. With this method we forecast the equity premium and real GDP growth rate. Combining forecasts in the frequency domain produces markedly more accurate predictions relative to the standard

Frequency-Domain Equalization Incorporated with Frequency-Domain Redundancy for OFDM Systems

2006 IEEE 17th International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2006
This paper proposes a frequency-domain equalizer (FEQ) which utilizes not only guard interval but also redundancy in the frequency domain to eliminate inter-symbol and inter-carrier interferences. The proposed FEQ employs the hybrid criterion, i.e., the zero-forcing (ZF) criterion for compensating desired subcarriers and the minimum mean square error ...
