Research on weak point location methods for oscillations in new energy power systems
To mitigate the impact of oscillations on new energy power systems, it is crucial to assess the system stability state online and identify weak points susceptible to oscillations for proactive measures.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Block-iterative frequency-domain methods for Maxwell's equations in a planewave basis.
We describe a fully-vectorial, three-dimensional algorithm to compute the definite-frequency eigenstates of Maxwell's equations in arbitrary periodic dielectric structures, including systems with anisotropy (birefringence) or magnetic materials, using ...

Linearized frequency domain Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation formulation
We present a general finite element linearized Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation (LLGE) solver for magnetic systems under weak time-harmonic excitation field.

Frequency Domain Analysis of Load Frequency Control Using PIDTune Model Standard
The load frequency control system aims to regulate the frequency in the electric power system at a normal value with a predetermined tolerance limit. In practice, the load frequency control system does not always operate optimally, therefore a controller

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Linear fractional order controllers; A survey in the frequency domain
Today, there is a great tendency toward using fractional calculus to solve engineering problems. The control is one of the fields in which fractional calculus has attracted a lot of attention.
