Production and performance of thin and thick film NTCR thermistors based on NiMn(_2)O(_4)+δ [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
In this study reliable film type NTCR thermistors based on NiMn(_2)O(_4)+δ were produced and their electrical properties were studied in detail. Electron-beam evaporation procedures have been applied to produce thin film NTCR thermistors. Phase pure NiMn(

Noise‐Tunable Memristor Enabling Programmable Probabilistic Neurons for Frequency‐Selective Time‐Series Signal Encoding

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Memristors offer tunable resistance and intrinsic instability, making them promising tunable noise sources. We propose a spiking‐rate‐programmable probabilistic neuron using a Ru/TaOx/Pt memristor, where resistance‐dependent noise enables frequency‐selective encoding.

Frequency Hopping Method for Audio Watermarking [PDF]

open access: yesTelfor Journal, 2012
This paper evaluates the degradation of audio content for a perceptible removable watermark. Two different approaches to embedding the watermark in the spectral domain were investigated.

Electrolyte Design for Fast‐Charging Lithium‐Based Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A decade of progress in fast‐charging electrolytes for lithium batteries is reviewed. Electrolyte design strategies spanning solvents, salts, additives, and advanced systems, such as localized high‐concentration electrolytes (LHCEs), are summarized. Advanced diagnostic tools for lithium plating and interphase chemistry are discussed, with perspectives ...

Successive Interference Cancellation in Clipped and Product Combining aided FFH Multi-User Systems

open access: yes, 2006
—In this contribution, we propose two successive interference cancellation (SIC) schemes for a fast frequency hopping (FFH) multiple access (MA) system using M-ary frequency shift keying (MFSK) and invoking multi-user detection (MUD). One of the proposed

Blind estimation algorithm for frequency hopping parameters based on enhanced time-frequency ridge extraction

open access: yesNantong Daxue xuebao. Ziran kexue ban
In existing blind estimation algorithms for frequency-hopping parameters based on time-frequency ridges, performance degrades significantly when the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) falls below-5 dB.

Volatile Memristive Devices With Tunable Temporal Dynamics For Event‐Based Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Tunable volatile memristive devices can serve various neural‐inspired tasks that require different time windows of information retention. The ionic‐based volatility of the presented Pt/a‐STO/TaOx/Ta device stack can be reproducibly and controllably tuned in multiple ways.
