Chaotic frequency hopping sequences

IEEE Transactions on Communications, 1998
This letter describes a novel family of frequency hopping sequences generated by chaotic systems. The sequences give a uniform spread over the entire frequency bandwidth. In addition to having good Hamming correlation properties, they possess ideal linear span.

Sets of Optimal Frequency-Hopping Sequences

IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2008
In communication systems, frequency-hopping spread spectrum and direct-sequence spread spectrum are two main spread coding technologies. Frequency-hopping sequences are needed in FH-CDMA systems. In this correspondence, three algebraic constructions of sets of optimal frequency-hopping sequences are presented.

Cognitive Frequency Hopping

2008 3rd International Conference on Cognitive Radio Oriented Wireless Networks and Communications (CrownCom 2008), 2008
To increase the scarcity of spectrum resources and enhance the anti-jamming performance of the system, a novel cognitive frequency hopping mechanism is proposed in the paper. It solves the problem that adaptive frequency hopping can't distinguish between self-interference and interference from other wireless communication systems.

Frequency hopped systems for PCS

Proceedings of IEEE 3rd International Symposium on Spread Spectrum Techniques and Applications (ISSSTA'94), 1995
The application of frequency hopping methods to cellular and personal communication systems (PCS) is studied. The performance enhancements due to the use of frequency hopping (FH) is initially reviewed followed by a brief summary of previously designed cellular/PCS systems that have incorporated FH methods.

Frequency hopping synchronization strategy

2016 3rd International Conference on Systems and Informatics (ICSAI), 2016
Frequency hopping is one of the classic examples of spread-spectrum communications. This paper is about the study of the strategy of the synchronous recognition process. In other words, the topic is in which condition the hopping frequency in the receiver and transmitter can be identified.
