Hf–Zr–O‐based morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) thin films often suffer from limited endurance and poor uniformity due to intrinsic phase instability. This work proposes a nanolaminate architecture that spatially separates competing phases, stabilizes phase formation, and suppresses wake‐up‐induced degradation.

Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

Time synchronization over the Internet using an adaptive frequency-locked loop [PDF]
This paper describes the operation of an algorithm for synchronizing the time of computers using messages transmitted over packet-switched networks such as the Internet. The algorithm configures itself to realize any specified performance level at minimum cost (measured in computer cycles or network bandwidth).

Microfabrication using nano‐ to micron‐sized blocks has transformative potential for next‐gen electronics, optoelectronics, and materials. Traditional methods are limited by scalability and precision. STIC, a single‐laser system for precise colloid manipulation and immobilization using femtosecond lasers, is introduced that enables efficient 3D ...
