Design of multivariable feedback control systems via spectral assignment [PDF]
Applied research in the area of spectral assignment in multivariable systems is reported. A frequency domain technique for determining the set of all stabilizing controllers for a single feedback loop multivariable system is described.

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Frequency Assignment in Mobile Phone Systems [PDF]
Wireless communication technology is the basis of radio and television broadcasting, it is used in satellite-based cellular telephone systems, in point-to-multipoint radio access systems, and in terrestrial mobile cellular networks, to mention a few such systems (see [5] for more detailed information).

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Elementary landscape decomposition of the frequency assignment problem [PDF]
Theoretical Computer Science 412(43),2011, pp.6002-6019The Frequency Assignment Problem (FAP) is an important problem that arises in the design of radio networks, when a channel has to be assigned to each transceiver of the network.

Acute caffeine treatment protects the developing retina from ischemia‐induced cell death
Caffeine reduces cell death in the developing retina under ischemia (OGD). This effect does not involve BDNF upregulation or antioxidant pathways (NRF2/VEGF). Neuroprotection occurs mainly through adenosine A2A receptor antagonism, decreasing glutamate release and excitotoxicity, highlighting caffeine's potential as an acute neuroprotective agent in ...

Population assignment from genotype likelihoods for low‐coverage whole‐genome sequencing data
Low‐coverage whole‐genome sequencing (WGS) is increasingly used for the study of evolution and ecology in both model and non‐model organisms; however, effective application of low‐coverage WGS data requires the implementation of probabilistic frameworks ...
