Manifold Sensitivity Analysis of Frequency Diverse Array

IEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2020
Frequency diverse array (FDA) is an emerging array technique, its essential array characteristics and corresponding potential applications have not been well studied. As array manifold plays an essential role in various array applications, this letter presents an FDA manifold sensitivity framework to analyze the impact of element position uncertainties.

Multiple sclerosis frequency in Israel’s diverse populations

Neurology, 2006
Israel has served for almost half a century as a site for epidemiologic studies of multiple sclerosis (MS). Its small geographic size, well-equipped, accessible, and subsidized health facilities, trained physicians, detailed census data, and a National MS Register, maintained since 1960, offer advantages for accurate determinations of MS frequency in ...

Digital beamforming in MIMO-radar with frequency diversity

2016 IEEE East-West Design & Test Symposium (EWDTS), 2016
The aim of this work is to develop an algorithm of digital beam forming for coherent MIMO radar with frequency diversity. We discussed ways to simplify hardware implementation of MIMO radar using serial method of MIMO channel matrix forming. A model of probing waveform, which allows performing digital beam forming at functional level is proposed.

A study of OFDM system applying frequency diversity

11th IEEE International Symposium on Personal Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications. PIMRC 2000. Proceedings (Cat. No.00TH8525), 2002
An OFDM system is widely known as a modulation scheme, which can reduce the effect of frequency selective fading. However, under a large frequency selective fading environment, it is difficult to demodulate correctly even with appropriate equalization. In this paper, an OFDM system applying a frequency diversity scheme is proposed.

Performance evaluations of frequency diversity radar system

2007 European Microwave Conference, 2007
Frequency diversity radar combines two or more conventional transceivers through a common antenna, in a multiplex arrangement on the same RF transmission channel. It significantly improves radar detection performance and reduces false alarms under adverse weather conditions, here in case of normal distributed background clutter.

Macroscopic Diversity in Frequency Reuse Radio Systems

IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, 1987
Macroscopic diversity is a technique that can facilitate high quality and ubiquitous communications between low-power portable radiotelephones and data terminals, and radio base stations (ports) that are connected to the local network. It uses radio signals from several base stations to mitigate the effect of shadow fading, a variation of signal ...

Clustering-Based Frequency l-Diversity Anonymization

2009
Privacy preservation is realized by transforming data into k-anonymous (k-anonymization) and l -diverse (l -diversification) versions while minimizing information loss. Frequency l -diversity is possibly the most practical instance of the generic l -diversity principle for privacy preservation.

Frequency diverse array radar

2012
Electronic scanning is the most desirable feature of state-of-the-art radar systems. With electronic scanning, it is possible to steer the main beam of an array antenna instantaneously into a desired direction where no mechanical mechanism is involved in the scanning process.
