Multiwavelength Monitoring of the BL Lacertae Object PKS 2155-304 in May 1994. II. The IUE Campaign

open access: yes, 1997
PKS 2155-304, the brightest BL Lac object in the ultraviolet sky, was monitored with the IUE satellite at ~1 hour time-resolution for ten nearly uninterrupted days in May 1994.

PICALM::MLLT10 translocated leukemia

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This comprehensive review of PICALM::MLLT10 translocated acute leukemia provides an in‐depth review of the structure and function of CALM, AF10, and the fusion oncoprotein (1). The multifaceted molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis, including nucleocytoplasmic shuttling (2), epigenetic modifications (3), and disruption of endocytosis (4), are then ...

Variable sampling processing and frequency domain analysis of sound signals

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2019
Abstract This paper describes the transition from analog to digital signals, and the relationship between the angular frequency of continuous-time signals and the digital angular frequency of discrete-time signals. In this paper, the frequency domain expression of the signal after the upper sampling (interpolation) and down sampling ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Frequency domain digital signal processing for cavity ringdown spectroscopy

open access: yes, 2012
In this thesis, we demonstrate, through simulation and experiment, new digital signal processing techniques that increase the throughput, and thus the sensitivity, of Cavity Ringdown Spectroscopy (CRDS). Almost all of the experiments in the literature are designed to generate single decay transients, and achieve sensitivity improvements by increasing ...

Human Brain Microwave Imaging Signal Processing: Frequency Domain (S-parameters) to Time Domain Conversion

open access: yesEngineering, 2013
The paper presents the microwave signal processing method using MATLAB based on the result of microwave imaging system simulation developed using Computer Simulation Technology (CST). The simulation system contains a transmitting/receiving antenna, human brain and a tumor inside the brain model. The source signal, microwave signal operates from 1 to 10

Inhibiting stearoyl‐CoA desaturase suppresses bone metastatic prostate cancer by modulating cellular stress, mTOR signaling, and DNA damage response

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Bone metastasis in prostate cancer (PCa) patients is a clinical hurdle due to the poor understanding of the supportive bone microenvironment. Here, we identify stearoyl‐CoA desaturase (SCD) as a tumor‐promoting enzyme and potential therapeutic target in bone metastatic PCa.
