Frequency-independent linear multibeam antenna array

Radioengineering, 2021
A method of forming frequency-independent radiation characteristics for linear antenna arrays with uniform amplitude excitation based on properties of non-equidistant arrays is considered. Due to the non-equidistant placement of radiators the declining equivalent amplitude distribution in the aperture is formed that in conjunction with the introduction

Color and Luminance: Independent Frequency Shifts

Science, 1981
Simultaneous opposite spatial frequency shifts can be obtained in chrominance and luminance channels. The chrominance shift cannot be transferred interocularly. Chrominance and luminance channels seem to perform similar but independent spatial frequency analyses.

Frequency independent ultrasound contrast-detail analysis

Ultrasound in Medicine & Biology, 1985
An ultrasound contrast-detail phantom has been developed to evaluate the image quality of diagnostic ultrasound imaging systems. The phantom includes eight conical targets whose B-mode images show disk lesions such that the object contrast of each lesion relative to background is independent of the imaging device or transducer frequency/spectrum.

Frequency-independent beamforming

Proceedings of IEEE Workshop on Applications of Signal Processing to Audio and Acoustics, 2002
The beamwidth of a linear array decreases as frequency increases. For broadband beamformers such as microphone arrays for teleconferencing, this frequency dependence implies that signals incident on the outer portions of the main beam are subject to an undesirable lowpass filtering process. In the paper several ways of attaining beamwidth constancy are

Frequency independent microstrip stacked antenna

International Journal of Electronics, 2000
The advancement of technological development in the microstrip antenna and its applications in diverse areas, have given rise to the need for a frequency agile and frequency independent microstrip antenna which could be used for the same range of frequencies without altering the system.

FREQUENCY INDEPENDENT EVOLUTIONARY MODELS

Journal of Biological Systems, 1999
Using general classes of evolutionary models in which fitnesses are frequency independent and density dependent, we show that a phenotype is an ESS if and only if it is a NIS. This result is seen to hold in single species and multi species evolutionary models with and without structure.
