Frequency-Reconfigurable Phase Shifter Based on a 65-nm CMOS Process for 5G Applications
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems - II - Express Briefs, 2021In this brief, a frequency-reconfigurable phase shifter (PS) with a substrate-shield-based inductor for 5G applications is presented. This PS can switch its operating bands between 26.5–29.5 GHz and 37–40 GHz by a single control voltage.

A Frequency-Reconfigurable Inverted-L Antenna Made of Pure Water
IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, 2022A pure-water inverted-L antenna with frequency reconfigurability is proposed in this letter. The radiation from the cutoff region of high-permittivity dielectric waveguide is here utilized in the proposed water antenna to realize the similar performance ...

Frequency reconfigurable active antenna
2014 International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation Conference Proceedings, 2014The objective is to design a frequency reconfigurable active antenna which involves the integration of active device such as FET with a passive structure. Here the dual port dual band antenna is independently designed and later connected to one port amplifier using matching network.

Frequency reconfigurable antenna using active capacitors
2015 IEEE 15th Mediterranean Microwave Symposium (MMS), 2015The development in wireless communication requires the use of tunable antenna adapted to the RF environment and providing optimal connectivity. In this paper, the design of frequency reconfigurable antenna is discussed. The reference square patch structure was optimized to operate at 2.45GHz. The frequency agility was achieved by integrating a varactor

Frequency-Reconfigurable Liquid Metal Magnetoelectric Dipole Antenna
IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, 2021We propose a frequency-reconfigurable liquid metal magnetoelectric dipole antenna. Two radiation arms composed of liquid metal are attached to the edge of the dipole of a dual polarized magnetoelectric dipole antenna, liquid metal is wrapped in the ...

Frequency reconfigurable slot antenna using metasurface
The 8th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP 2014), 2014A frequency-reconfigurable slot antenna designed using metasurface (MS) is proposed and studied. The proposed antenna is composed of a simple circular slot antenna and a circular MS with the same diameter of 50 mm and implemented using planar technology. The MS is placed directly atop the slot antenna, making the proposed antenna very compact.

Frequency reconfigurable dual-band filtenna
AEU - International Journal of Electronics and Communications, 2020Abstract In this paper, a compact size frequency reconfigurable dual-band filtenna (Filter +Antenna) is proposed for WLAN, WiMaX and C-band applications. The filtenna is designed by a switchable SRR (i.e. Two switches are used in inner and outer split rings) band pass filter (BPF) and a CSRR based antenna.

A reconfigurable stepped frequency GPR (GPR-R)
2011 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2011Ground Penetrating Radars are a unique and well known tool for soil investigation. In order to improve its penetration depth and/or its resolution limits, in the past several radar designs, based on the so called Continuous Wave-Stepped Frequency technique have been proposed. However, the resulting design was often a quite complex equipment.
