Frequency-Reconfigurable Quasi-Yagi Antenna

The antenna is composed of a double-layer metallic structure and fed by a microstrip fed line. A frequency reconfigurable slot antenna
2007 International Symposium on Microwave, Antenna, Propagation and EMC Technologies for Wireless Communications, 2007This paper proposed a frequency reconfigurable CPW center-fed slot antenna. Four pin-diodes are utilized to switch the length of the slot. By tuning the different pairs of diodes on or off, three resonant frequency bands can be obtained. The simulated and measured results validate this concept.
