Frequency reconfigurable antennas: A review
2017 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSPC), 2017The recent trends in wireless communication systems show that the demand for devices able to operate within more frequency bands has been inflated considerably. This has enhanced the evolution of antennas that are able to be operated at multiple frequency bands.

PIFA with reconfigurable frequency bandwidth
2015 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, 2015This paper presents a novel Planar Inverted F-Antenna (PIFA) having a reconfigurable frequency operating bandwidth. The physical mechanism for altering the bandwidth is by varying the width of the feedline. This is achieved using a pair of microwave switches. The frequency bandwidth can be reconfigured between 3 discrete values.

Frequency reconfigurable antenna for DVB‐H applications
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2011AbstractThis article presents a new reconfigurable DVB‐H antenna for a portable TV or a tablet PC device. The antenna consists in a folded monopole loaded by a diode varactor combined with an open stub used to match the antenna. Design procedure and equivalent model are presented.
