The neural regulation of circulation explored in the frequency domain

Journal of the Autonomic Nervous System, 1990
The neural regulation of circulation has mainly been explored on the basis of the phasic reflex changes that it undergoes when a disturbance is imposed upon the system. This approach brought to the artificial fragmentation of the whole regulatory network into a legion of presumed simple reflexes and to the subsequent attempt to reconstitute a unitary ...

Cases of CFPID regulator for frequency regulation of power systems

Journal of Statistics & Management Systems, 2023
In consistently expanding region and construction of present-day Power System having trouble request vulnerabilities, the utilization of learned and lively recurrence power technique is fundamental for good working of Power-station. To enhanced regulator boundaries, a SCiWOA has been utilized. Frequency soundness and control are perhaps the main issues

Adrenergic regulation of the force-frequency effect

Basic Research in Cardiology, 1998
An important interaction between beta-adrenergic receptor (AR) stimulation and the myocardial contractile response to increased heart rate has only recently been identified. The effect of beta-AR stimulation to amplify the force-frequency effect is responsible for a large component of the positive inotropic effect of exercise in conscious dogs and also

Allocation of frequency regulation services

DRPT2000. International Conference on Electric Utility Deregulation and Restructuring and Power Technologies. Proceedings (Cat. No.00EX382), 2002
A novel concept for directly quantifying the value of frequency regulation services of individual generators is proposed in this paper. Individual generator dynamics are explicitly incorporated into the optimisation problem as constraints, which allowed the frequency fluctuations to be also directly monitored and controlled. The approach eliminates the

Regulator Design in the Frequency Domain

2018
A closed-loop control system has to meet several prescribed quality specifications, as stability, static accuracy, dynamical behavior, noise suppression, insensitivity to parameter changes, etc. These specifications can be formulated in the time and in the frequency domain.

Frequency Regulation by Electric Vehicle

2018 International Conference on Current Trends towards Converging Technologies (ICCTCT), 2018
Electric vehicles (EVs), connected to the grid, acts as a distributed load or distributed storage. Integration of EVs into microgrid is able to provide many services like ancillary services, active power control, reactive power compensation and specially frequency regulation.

Frequency linked pricing as an instrument for frequency regulation in deregulated electricity markets

2003 IEEE Power Engineering Society General Meeting (IEEE Cat. No.03CH37491), 2004
This paper presents the design of an automatic balance service market that can act as an effective tool for system frequency control in deregulated power systems. The proposed scheme combines the presently existing manual balancing mechanism, prevailing in some countries, with the conventional automatic generation control, within a bid-based market ...

Frequency encoding in renal blood flow regulation

American Journal of Physiology-Regulatory, Integrative and Comparative Physiology, 2005
With a model of renal blood flow regulation, we examined consequences of tubuloglomerular feedback (TGF) coupling to the myogenic mechanism via voltage-gated Ca channels. The model reproduces the characteristic oscillations of the two mechanisms and predicts frequency and amplitude modulation of the myogenic oscillation by TGF.
