Frequency Selective Fading on Wideband Mobile Radio Channels
IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference, 2006Wideband indoor measurements were performed in different scenarios with a 300 MHz bandwidth chirp sounder to generate 100 channel impulse responses every one second. To study the frequency selective fading for OFDM and WCDMA systems, the 300 MHz bandwidth was divided into either 15 sections with 20 MHz bandwidth or into 60 sections with 5 MHz bandwidth.

Optimized delay diversity for frequency-selective fading channels

Capacity of frequency selective fading channels
Proceedings of IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory, 2002We derive a formula for the capacity of frequency selective fading channels, described by stationary ergodic processes. We express the capacity as an integral w.r.t. the limiting distribution of the eigenvalues of a particular channel matrix. We show that this distribution, and the capacity depend on the channel impulse response statistics only.
