Channel estimation and interference suppression in frequency-selective fading channels

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2002
The issue of interference suppression is considered for wireless time-division multiple-access (TDMA) systems equipped with multiple receive antennas in frequency-selective fading channels. A novel scheme is presented to estimate the multipath channel, coherently demodulate information symbols, and meanwhile suppress radio interference.

High‐Temperature Phase Transformation in a V‐9Si‐6.5B Alloy: The Kinetic and Crystallographic Pathway From V5SiB2 to V8SiB4

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
In situ synchrotron high‐energy X‐ray diffraction reveals the real‐time high‐temperature phase evolution of a ternary V‐9Si‐6.5B alloy. The study uncovers a kinetically delayed V5SiB2 → V8SiB4 transformation governed by massive structural and chemical barriers.

New design method of space-frequency coding and fast detection algorithm

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2009
To analyze the performance of space-frequency codes, the Chernoff bound was used in the existing literatures, but it was too loose to conclude the diversity order and coding gain simultaneously. Therefore,a new view of the transmission of space-frequency ...

Multi-User Detection for Group Orthogonal Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access System in Frequency Selective Rayleigh Fading Channel

open access: yesJournal of Engineering and Sustainable Development, 2008
Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) suffers from multi-user interference (MUI), and intersymbol interference (ISI) under frequency selective multi-path fading channels. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple access (OFDM) is MUI free but achieves lower

Receiver structures for time-varying frequency-selective fading channels

open access: yesIEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, 1999
Several receiver structures for linearly modulated signals are proposed for time-varying frequency-selective channels. Their channel estimators explicitly model the time variation of the channel taps via polynomials. These structures are constructed from the following building blocks: (i) sliding or fixed block channel estimators; (ii) maximum ...

Strain‐Programmable Luminescent Adhesive Patch With Tartrazine‐Mediated Optical Skin Clearing for Photochemical Tissue Bonding

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We propose a suture‐complementary approach that integrates optical skin clearing with a strain‐programmable luminescent adhesive patch. Hyaluronic acid promotes transdermal delivery of tartrazine to improve optical clearing and stabilizes its interaction with a photosensitizer. Optical clearing increases the penetration depth of visible light into skin,

Theoretical analysis and simulation of a code division multiple access system (cdma) for secure signal transmission in wideband channels

open access: yesVojnotehnički Glasnik, 2014
Chaotic spreading sequences can increase secrecy and resistance to interception in signal transmission. Chaos-based CDMA systems have been well investigated in the case of flat fading and noise presence in the channel. However, these systems operating in

Chemical State Detection and Charge Transfer in Complex Oxide Heterostructures via In Situ Auger Electron Spectroscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In situ Auger Electron Spectroscopy resolves oxidation states with high fidelity during the pulsed laser deposition of multivalent perovskite manganate and vanadate heterostructures. The chemical‐state signature is carried by the valence‐electron population of the transition‐metal cation, read out through the relative intensities of Auger fine ...
