Spectrum analysis of bipolar pulse frequency modulation voltage

2016 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Energy and Power Systems (IEPS), 2016
Usefulness of a bipolar pulse-frequency modulation (PFM) for DC-AC power converters with transformers are shown. The signal spectrum analyzing on the basis a double Fourier series are proposed. A separation of the bipolar PFM signal on two unipolar signals is developed. A time transform for the dependency of the bipolar PFM and a pulse-width modulation

Frequency-domain characterization of Singular Spectrum Analysis eigenvectors

2016 IEEE International Symposium on Signal Processing and Information Technology (ISSPIT), 2016
Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA) is a nonparametric approach used to decompose a time series into meaningful components, related to trends, oscillations and noise. SSA can be seen as a spectral decomposition, where each term is related to an eigenvector derived from the trajectory matrix.

Time Domain to Frequency Domain: Spectrum Analysis

2014
The concept of spectrum can be attributed to Isaac Newton, who, with the aid of a prism, discovered that sunlight can be decomposed into a spectrum of colors from red to violet in about 1700. This indicates that any light comprises numerous components of light of various colors (wave lengths).

Mechanisms of female urinary continence under stress: frequency spectrum analysis

Journal of Biomechanics, 2001
Intravesical and urethral pressure signals during cough and Valsalva maneuvers for 15 continent women were analyzed with frequency spectrum analysis. Clear modulation of the urethral pressure changes by the intravesical pressure rise during stress maneuvers was demonstrated in the frequency bands of 14 and 7 Hz for cough and Valsalva, respectively. The

Analysis of Technical Conditions for Sharing Frequency Spectrum

2008 10th International Conference on Advanced Communication Technology, 2008
A frequency sharing technique is necessary for using the limited frequency resources efficiently. In this paper we study the condition for sharing frequency bands in two cases. One is the case that the frequency band is already allocated to the specific communication.

Spectrum Sensing Based on Time-frequency Dispersion Analysis

Journal of Information and Computational Science, 2014
A novel spectrum sensing algorithm is proposed based on time-frequency dispersion analysis. Timefrequency ridge line is flrstly calculated of a received data’s mutual correlation to form a series of timefrequency dots. Time-frequency dispersion function is subsequently deflned to describe the dispersion level of the time-frequency dots according to the

Frequency Sequence Modulation: Analysis of additional Spectrum Space

2019 IEEE AFRICON, 2019
This paper proposes a novel method of achieving additional frequency spectrum space at low peak-to-average-power ratio (PAPR), An analogy of genetic coding is applied in order to determine how fewer frequency channels are used to convey more bits to a receiver. Furthermore.

The Significance of Negative Frequencies in Spectrum Analysis

IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 1967
In EMC measurements spectra generated by pulsed signals are often measured. To calculate the spectra theoretically, Fourier methods are usually used. The Fourier transform yields a spectrum which contains positive and negative frequencies. The exponential form of the Fourier series also yields a spectrum which contains positive and negative frequencies.
