Stability in phonational frequency range

Journal of Communication Disorders, 1989
The purpose of the present study was to investigate the stability of total phonational frequency range, and the stability of the elements from which it is calculated--lowest fundamental frequency and highest fundamental frequency--both within a single day and over a prolonged period.

The Stabilization of the Frequency of a Klystron

IETE Journal of Research, 1968
ABSTRACTA modified Pound stabilization system for the automatic frequency control of a klystron has been described. The stability of frequency obtained is 5 parts in 107 which may be considered to be sufficient for the microwave generators used for the purpose of voice communication and in the field of electron spin resonance spectroscopy.

Frequency and polarization effects in stabilization

Physical Review A, 1992
Quantitative results are presented for stabilization of atoms against ionization by strong laser fields over a wide range of frequencies for circular and linear polarization. With circular polarization, stabilization occurs for all frequencies. At high frequency (ω>1 a.u.), the stabilization intensity is predicted by the occurrence of photon thresholds.

Frequency dependence and stability

Mathematical Biosciences, 1976
Abstract The use of difference equations is suggested for simulating frequency-dependent changes in gene frequencies. Our model shows a good fit to published cases of populations in which gene frequencies reached stable equilibrium. However, in the same deterministic model, slight changes in the value of some parameters can lead to cyclic or chaotic ...

Optical frequency stabilization with a synchronous frequency-to-voltage converter

Applied Optics, 2019
Between a frequency comb mode and a continuous-wave (cw) laser, we demonstrate that a frequency-to-voltage converter can be used to transfer frequency instability in the 10-14 range for integration times τ between 0.25 and 2100 s. The technique is relevant when the optical beat between laser signals is weak and a high level of frequency stability is ...

Maser Frequency Stability

13th Annual Symposium on Frequency Control, 1959
The frequency stability of an ammonia maser is ordinarily quite high for per iods of a few minutes. However, to preserve this stability for long periods of t ime hours and days requi res ra ther carefu l cont ro l of the pa rame te r s of the system which affect the frequency in par t icular the pressure, focuser voltage and cavity temperature. We have

Characterization of the Frequency Stability of a Multibranch Optical Frequency Comb

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2020
Presently, ultra-precise optical clocks’ comparisons can be performed easily using the optical frequency combs (OFCs) as a transfer oscillator. In this scheme, different OFC branches are usually used to enable optical clocks’ comparison at different wavelengths.

Stabilizing the low frequencies

The Leading Edge, 2007
Acoustic and elastic impedance sections have two main uses. Firstly, they “look more like geology” than traditional reflectivity data, and enable us to better communicate the subsurface images to our non-geoscientist colleagues (e.g., reservoir engineers and drillers).

Oscillator Frequency Stability

1978
The term frequency stability is a generic term which means a variety of things to different people depending on their individual interests. In its broadest concept, it means the degree of constancy of the frequency of an oscillator under a particular set of conditions.
