An Efficient Frequent Patterns Mining Algorithm based on Apriori Algorithm and the FP-tree Structure [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Association rule mining is to find association relationships among large data sets. Mining frequent patterns is an important aspect in association rule mining.

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Development of New Structure for Frequent Pattern Mining

open access: yes, 2018
In this paper, we develop a new novel data structure called SH-Struct (Soft-Hyperlinked Structure) which mines the complete frequent itemset using SH-Mine algorithm. This algorithm enables frequent pattern mining with different supports.

Advanced Data Mining of SSD Quality Based on FP-Growth Data Analysis

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
Storage devices in the computer industry have gradually transformed from the hard disk drive (HDD) to the solid-state drive (SSD), of which the key component is error correction in not-and (NAND) flash memory. While NAND flash memory is under development,

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Query Expansion in Information Retrieval using Frequent Pattern (FP) Growth Algorithm for Frequent Itemset Search and Association Rules Mining [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advanced Computer Science and Applications, 2019
Documents on the Internet have increased in number exponentially; this has resulted in users having difficulty finding documents or information needed. Special techniques are needed to retrieve documents that are relevant to user queries. One technique that can be used is Information Retrieval (IR).

Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.
