Countermeasure for Interrupted-sampling Repeater Jamming based on Fractional Fourier Transformation

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
Today, the interrupted-sampling repeater jamming (ISRJ) has posed a serious threat to LFM radars. In this paper, a countermeasure to suppressing ISRJ based on fractional Fourier transformation (FrFT) is presented.

Using lightweight denoising network to suppress multiple barrage jamming in range‐Doppler domain

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 18, Issue 11, Page 2308-2324, November 2024.
To address the issue of single‐channel radar resisting multiple barrage jamming, this paper proposes a novel jamming suppression framework based on range‐Doppler domain denoising. It also proposes a deep denoising network with a lightweight multi‐resolution encoding and decoding structure.

Ship Velocity Estimation in Airborne Along-Track Interferometric SAR Imagery Based on the Fractional Fourier Transform

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2020
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) was originally exploited to image stationary scenes. However, it is important to derive target information of velocity for many applications.

Three‐dimensional interferometric inverse synthetic aperture radar imaging of ship target based on cubic phase signal model

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 18, Issue 10, Page 1691-1709, October 2024.
This paper proposes a three‐dimensional interferometric inverse synthetic aperture radar imaging algorithm for the ship targets based on the cubic phase signal (CPS) model. This method approximates the azimuth echo signal as a CPS and utilises the particle swarm optimisation algorithm to estimate the higher order phase coefficients.

Spatial correlations in parametric down-conversion

open access: yes, 2010
The transverse spatial effects observed in photon pairs produced by parametric down-conversion provide a robust and fertile testing ground for studies of quantum mechanics, non-classical states of light, correlated imaging and quantum information.

Radar active oppressive interference suppression based on generative adversarial network

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 18, Issue 7, Page 1193-1202, July 2024.
An intelligent interference suppression method based on deep learning is proposed. Its interference suppression performance and robustness are better than the existing methods. Abstract Modern radar systems often face various interference signals in complex and rapidly changing electronic environments.

Enhanced target detection using fractional Fourier transform features with threshold‐modified normalization

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 60, Issue 12, June 2024.
Our manuscript introduces a novel method that modifies the normalization process in the fractional Fourier transform (FRFT) domain by incorporating a threshold mechanism to counteract the effects of non‐normal distributions. Additionally, we propose a target detection method that utilizes three new features extracted from this modified FRFT domain ...
