In this paper, we investigate the quantum Brownian motion of a massive scalar point particle induced by the FRW spacetime in the presence of a linear topological defect named cosmic string. In addition, we also consider a flat boundary orthogonal to the defect to analyze its effect on the particle’s motion.

Collineations of (2+1)-Dimensional Friedmann-Robertson-Walker Spacetimes
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2004Conformal Killing and Ricci collineation equations for (2+1)‐dimensional Friedmann‐Robertson‐Walker (FRW) spacetimes are solved. These spacetimes are classified according to their Ricci conformal collineations (RCCs) and Ricci collineations (RCs). In the non‐degenerate and degenerate cases of the Ricci tensor (the cases det(Rab) ≠ 0 and det(Rab) = 0 ...

On the basis of the generalized invariant formulation, the invariant-related unitary transformation method is used to study the evolution of a quantum Dirac field in Friedmann–Robertson–Walker spatially flat spacetime. We first solve the functional Schrodinger equation for a free Dirac field and obtain the exact solutions.

Physical significance of different classes of Friedmann–Robertson–Walker spacetime
International Journal of Geometric Methods in Modern PhysicsIn this research, Friedmann–Robertson–Walker (FRW) spacetime is classified completely according to Noether symmetries. Different classes are discussed for flat, open and closed universes. According to this classification, we have various forms of cosmic scale factor [Formula: see text].
