Konkurrenz zwischen unimolekularen Ein‐ und Zwei‐Elektron‐Reaktionen später 3d‐Metallkomplexe [(Me3SiCH2)nM]– (M = Fe, Co, Ni, Cu; n = 2 – 4)

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

Extramedullary plasmacytoma: Tumor occurrence and therapeutic concepts—A follow‐up

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 11, Issue 24, Page 4743-4755, December 2022., 2022
This paper provides an overview of the extramedullary plasmacytoma cases reported between 1999 and 2021. The global patients’ cohort and the current therapy options are compared to our previous report from 1999. Abstract Background Extramedullary plasmacytoma (EMP) is a solitary tumor consisting of neoplastic plasma cells, with very little to no bone ...

Transcatheter valve repair of tricuspid regurgitation with the PASCAL system: TriCLASP study 30‐day results

open access: yesCatheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, Volume 100, Issue 7, Page 1291-1299, December 1, 2022., 2022
Abstract Background Severe tricuspid regurgitation (TR) is independently associated with increased morbidity and mortality. Percutaneous transcatheter approaches may offer an alternative for patients not amenable to surgery. Methods TriCLASP is a prospective, single‐arm, multicenter European post‐market clinical follow‐up study (NCT04614402) to ...

Recently, the genetic basis and developmental mechanisms underlying the process of melanization have become progressively elucidated, allowing us to study the evolutionary processes that govern the huge variability of pigmentation observed in nature ...

Photoinduced Electron Transfer Across Phospholipid Bilayers in Anaerobic and Aerobic Atmospheres

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Light‐driven transmembrane electron transfer across a biomimetic lipid bilayer membrane in aerobic and anaerobic atmospheres is achieved using an organic transmembrane oriented chromophore. The transmembrane molecule is designed symmetrically and easy to synthesize.

Optimised Protocol for Drying Aqueous Enzyme Solutions in Organic Solvents – Comparison of Free and Immobilised Candida antarctica Lipase B

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 15, Issue 1, January 9, 2023., 2023
Protocol for Drying Aqueous Enzyme Solution: An optimised protocol for drying of soluble lipases in organic solvents is presented, and the study highlights the importance of controlling water activity in reaction mixtures when lipase characteristics are investigated.

Leaflet‐Specific Structure and Dynamics of Solid and Polymer Supported Lipid Bilayers

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
The manuscript investigates the structural and dynamic properties of polyethylene glycol‐supported lipid bilayers using a method based on graphene‐induced energy transfer and line‐scan fluorescence lifetime correlation spectroscopy, providing subnanometer spatial resolution and millisecond temporal resolution within a single experiment.

On the Discontinuous Galerkin method for Friedrichs Systems in Graph Spaces

open access: yes, 2016
Solutions of Friedrichs systems are in general not of Sobolev regularity and may possess discontinuities along the characteristics of the differential operator. We state a setting in which the well-posedness of Friedrichs systems on polyhedral domains is ensured, while still allowing changes in the inertial type of the boundary.
