Tintas Ink-Jet para Decoracion 3D

open access: yesBoletín de la Sociedad Española de Cerámica y Vidrio, 2011
A new set of different ink-jet inks to be apply as a 3D object and extrafine layers to protect the decoration made by ink-jet technology. These new inks are obtained through the development of new frits based on monophasic crystal vitro structures that ...

Electroosmotic Pumps with Frits Synthesized from Potassium Silicate. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2015
Electroosmotic pumps employing silica frits synthesized from potassium silicate as a stationary phase show strong electroosmotic flow velocity and resistance to pressure-driven flow. We characterize these pumps and measure an electroosmotic mobility of 2.

Measuring Local Exothermic Effects During the Oxidative Coupling of Methane Using Operando Luminescence Thermometry

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Operando luminescence thermometry shows that the local catalyst temperature can exceed the set oven temperature by almost 250°C during the exothermic oxidative coupling of methane process. We demonstrate how the reactor dimensions, catalyst grain size, and reactant feed mixture affect the local temperature.

Utilization of waste glass with natural pozzolan in the production of self-glazed glass-ceramic materials

open access: yesNanotechnology Reviews, 2023
Significant self-glazed glass-ceramic was obtained from a natural pozzolan and external glass cullet. Natural pozzolan with/without glass cullet was fused to glass melt that quenched in water to glass frits. The dried glass frits were pulverized (

Thermal cycle stability of glass-to-metal seals with glass preforms produced via powder-metallurgy and casting-machining methods

open access: yesMaterials Research Express, 2023
In order to evaluate the influence of preform preparation processes on thermal cycle stability of glass-to-metal seals, this work embraced two different methods to produce the preform for seals.

Influencia de la molienda en la energía superficial de fritas para esmaltes

open access: yesBoletín de la Sociedad Española de Cerámica y Vidrio, 2013
In this work has been studied the influence of the milling process of two ceramic frits used in the ceramic tile industry. Both glass frits were of similar chemical composition changing SiO2 by 5% of B2O3 and both of them were water or dry milled.
