Abstract Research on institutional logics provides ample evidence that market logic and its associated practices have spread across fields within capitalist societies – a phenomenon commonly called ‘marketization’. However, logics research has paid little attention to the individual‐level mental processes that facilitate marketization.

Jet dynamics. Recollimation shocks and helical patterns
The dynamics and stability of extragalactic jets may be strongly influenced by small (and probable) differences in pressure between the jet and the ambient and within the jet itself. The former give rise to expansion and recollimation of the jet.

Using gravitational lensed images to investigate the intrinsic AGN variability [PDF]
We discuss about how the relative flux densities among the images of gravitationally-lensed active galactic nuclei, AGN, can be used to study the intrinsic AGN variability with high accuracy.

Critical Management Studies: From One‐Dimensional Critique to Three‐Dimensional Scepticism
Abstract Critical Management Studies (CMS) has largely relied on one‐dimensional critique which focus on the negation of a dominant social order. This strong focus has made the field increasingly stale and preoccupied with standard objects for critique.

The topology of spaces of polygons [PDF]
Let $E_{d}(\ell)$ denote the space of all closed $n$-gons in $\R^{d}$ (where $d\ge 2$) with sides of length $\ell_1,..., \ell_n$, viewed up to translations. The spaces $E_d(\ell)$ are parameterized by their length vectors $\ell=(\ell_1,..., \ell_n)\in \R^

ABSTRACT The ATP‐binding cassette transporter MDR1 P‐glycoprotein (syn. ABCB1) is an efflux carrier at the cell membrane that regulates drug absorption, distribution, and elimination. At the blood–brain barrier, MDR1 restricts brain entry of potentially neurotoxic drugs, such as ivermectin. In dogs and cats, MDR1 (syn.

Comment on "New Methods for Old Coulomb Few-Body Problems"
In this Comment on the above mentioned paper by F. E. Harris, A. M. Frolov, and V. H. Smith, we briefly review our contributions to development of new methods for solution of the Coulomb four-body problem. We show that our research group, headed by Prof.

Summary Carbonic anhydrases (CAs) are ubiquitous metalloenzymes that catalyze the reversible hydration of CO2, enabling fundamental processes in organisms across all domains of life. Among all CAs, the role of mitochondrial βCA remains poorly understood. Here, we identify a mitochondrial βCA, βCA6, as a key regulator of branched‐chain amino acid (BCAA)
