Antiferromagnets (AF) are a promising platform for high‐speed, low‐power spintronic devices. AF also play a relevant role for interface‐engineering in ferromagnet/normal‐metal (FM/NM) heterostructures to enhance spin‐current transmission. In this role, controlling the Néel vector orientation is key.

A search for pulsations in short gamma-ray bursts to constrain their progenitors
We searched for periodic and quasiperiodic signal in the prompt emission of a sample of 44 bright short gamma-ray bursts detected with Fermi/GBM, Swift/BAT, and CGRO/BATSE.

Classical strategies for P─C bond formation rely on precursors (e.g., PH3, H2PO2, PCl3) obtained from P4, which is produced via the energy‐intensive thermal process. Here, an alternative, redox‐neutral approach is explored. Primary phosphate sources are activated with triflic anhydride (Tf2O) and 4‐dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP) to a versatile PV ...

An upscattering spectral formation model for the prompt emission of Gamma-Ray Bursts
We propose a model for the spectral formation of Gamma Ray Burst (GRB) prompt emission, where the phenomenological Band's function is usually applied to describe the GRB prompt emission.

Average power density spectrum of long GRBs detected with BeppoSAX/GRBM and with Fermi/GBM
From past experiments the average power density spectrum (PDS) of GRBs with unknown redshift was found to be modelled from 0.01 to 1 Hz with a power-law, f^(-alpha), with alpha broadly consistent with 5/3.

Identification of a New Interesting BAG3 Modulator Able to Disrupt Cancer‐Related Pathways
Continuing our research aimed at discovering new BAG3 modulators as attractive anticancer drug candidates, we performed a screening campaign on an in‐house library, including compounds featuring a large variety of scaffolds. The obtained results induced us to focus on the triazole moiety and, following a stepwise structural refinement of the scaffold ...

The scaling of seed‐dispersal specialization in interaction networks across levels of organization
Natural ecosystems are characterized by a specialization pattern where few species are common while many others are rare. In ecological networks involving biotic interactions, specialization operates as a continuum at individual, species, and community levels. Theory predicts that ecological and evolutionary factors can primarily explain specialization.

BeppoSAX observations of the X-ray binary pulsar 4U1626-67 [PDF]
We report on observations of the low-mass X-ray binary 4U1626-67 performed during the BeppoSAX Science Verification Phase. We present the broad-band 0.1-100 keV pulse averaged spectrum, that is well fit by a two-component function: a 0.27 +/- 0.02 keV ...
