Effects of some growth regulators on frost damage

Cryobiology, 1968
Summary The sequence of freezing processes in fruit tree blossom and the possibilities of affecting them by application of growth regulators are discussed. Effects of exogenous growth regulators on frost damage to blossom are inconsistent. Their direct effects are negligible except when noxious.

A Conductivity Method for Screening Populations of Eucalypts for Frost Damage and Frost Tolerance

Australian Journal of Botany, 1986
The assessment of frost tolerance of Eucalyptus leaf tissue by an electrical conductivity method is described. Leaf disc samples were exposed to freezing treatments in test tubes within a liquid cold bath with precise temperature control, and the conductivity of the disc leachate measured.
