Compressive characterization of different chemically treated Borassus flabellifer fruit fibers

In this present work, the Borassus flabellifer (BF) fibers were collected through the processing of ripe BF fruits. Then the fiber surface was modified through different chemical treatments such as alkaline, maleic anhydride, and benzoyl chloride in order to increase the wettability of fiber and polymer matrix materials.
