Building Efficient Fruit Detection Model
2019 1st International Conference on Advances in Information Technology (ICAIT), 2019This manuscript conduct a deep routed survey of various existing fruit recognition system (FRS) for identifying different variety of fruits. From extensive survey it is seen the existing model does not perform well when color intensity and fruit size varies.

Detection of Lycopene in Pink Orange Fruit
Science, 1961Lycopene is shown to be the pink coloring pigment in Sarah—a pink sport of the Shamouti (Jaffa) orange— together with other unidentified carotenoids. This is a condition similar to that found in pink and red grapefruits, while the red pigments of blood oranges are anthocyanins.

Improved detection methods for fruit tree phytoplasmas
Plant Molecular Biology Reporter, 2001Phytoplasmas infecting fruit trees are considered quarantine organisms in Europe and North America. Detection often is hampered by their extremely irregular distribution in host plants. A sensitive, specific and quick diagnostic test would be highly desirable for routine detection, mainly to avoid using infected planting material.

Detecting Actions of Fruit Flies
2014In this thesis we describe a system that tracks fruit flies in video and automatically detects and classifies their actions. We introduce Caltech Fly-vs-Fly Interactions, a new dataset that contains hours of video showing pairs of fruit flies engaging in social interactions, and is published with complete expert annotations and articulated pose ...

Fractional order calculus based fruit detection
2019 8th International Conference on Agro-Geoinformatics (Agro-Geoinformatics), 2019Fractional calculus is a generalization of integration and derivation to noninteger order with a fundamental operator. Due to the extra free parameter of noninteger order $\alpha$, fractional order based methods provide additional degree of freedom in optimization performance.

Fruit Detection and Yield Prediction
Open orchards are seriously threatened by climate change, which might affect fruit production and put the livelihoods of orchard communities in jeopardy. This proposal investigates how, under this situation, combining technology for fruit recognition and yield prediction can improve community resilience.Chitra Bhole +3 more

Detection of Phytoplasmas of Temperate Fruit Trees
2008Phytoplasmas are associated with hundreds of plant diseases globally. Many fruit tree phytoplasmas are transmitted by insect vectors or grafting, are considered quarantine organisms and a major economic threat to orchards. Diagnosis can be difficult, but immunochemical and molecular methods have been developed.

Detecting ammonia injury on stone fruit
