The paradox of productive irritation: mapping the stress–coping loop that sustains generative-AI engagement

open access: yesFrontiers in Education
Generative AI promises academic efficiency yet often delivers flawed answers, leaving users “irritated but engaged.” To explain this paradox, we merge the Transactional Model of Stress and Coping with Cognitive Dissonance Theory and survey Indonesian and

Frustration Effects in Antiferromagnetic FCC Heisenberg Films

open access: yes, 2007
We study the effects of frustration in an antiferromagnetic film of FCC lattice with Heisenberg spin model including an Ising-like anisotropy. Monte Carlo (MC) simulations have been used to study thermodynamic properties of the film.

Kinetic Insights into Precursor‐Assisted Soft Sphere Close Packing Revealed by In Situ GISAXS with Implications for Gas Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The versatile precursor‐assisted soft sphere close packing during slot‐die coating is investigated with in situ X‐ray scattering. The soft crystallization pathways towards a close packing involve multistep structural transitions such as surface nucleation, in‐plane, and out‐of‐plane crystallization.

Ferrimagnetism in the Hubbard, dimmer-connector frustrated chain

open access: yesCondensed Matter Physics, 2010
We study the AB2 "dimmer-connector" chain within a generalized Hubbard model, which contains site-dependent parameters, and different chemical potentials for A and B sites.

Spin Frustration and Orbital Order in Vanadium Spinels

open access: yes, 2004
We present the results of our theoretical study on the effects of geometrical frustration and the interplay between spin and orbital degrees of freedom in vanadium spinel oxides $A$V$_2$O$_4$ ($A$ = Zn, Mg or Cd).

Biodegradable and Recyclable Luminescent Mixed‐Matrix‐Membranes, Hydrogels, and Cryogels based on Nanoscale Metal‐Organic Frameworks and Biopolymers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The study presents biodegradable and recyclable mixed‐matrix membranes (MMMs), hydrogels, and cryogels using luminescent nanoscale metal‐organic frameworks (nMOFs) and biopolymers. These bio‐nMOF‐MMMs combine europium‐based nMOFs as probes for the status of the materials with the biopolymers agar and gelatine and present alternatives to conventional ...

SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL FEATURES OF HIV-INFECTED INDIVIDUALS

open access: yesSovremennye Issledovaniâ Socialʹnyh Problem, 2016
By 2020 the prevalence of HIV in the Russian Federation may increase by 250%, unless we provide appropriate treatment to as many HIV-infected people as possible (V.I. Skvortsova, 2015).
