Photoswitching Conduction in Framework Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This mini‐review summarizes recent advances in state‐of‐the‐art proton and electron conduction in framework materials that can be remotely and reversibly switched on and off by light. It discusses the various photoswitching conduction mechanisms and the strategies employed to enhance photoswitched conductivity.

Spin delta-chain with competing exchange interactions

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений. Поволжский регион: Физико-математические науки
Background. Low-dimensional quantum magnets based on geometrically frustrated lattices are of considerable interest last time. As a typical example of such systems is the delta-chain which is a linear chain of triangles with spins on vertices.

The Heisenberg antiferromagnet on the square-kagomé lattice

open access: yesCondensed Matter Physics, 2009
We discuss the ground state, the low-lying excitations as well as high-field thermodynamics of the Heisenberg antiferromagnet on the two-dimensional square-kagomé lattice.

Tunable Coordination Number in Non‐Metal‐Introduced Copper Catalysts Enables High‐Performance Electrochemical CO2 Reduction to C2 Products

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Copper catalysts introduced with different non‐metallic elements regulating the coordination number of Cu are prepared by magnetron sputtering. Reducing the Cu coordination number enhances C─C coupling and boosts C2+ product selectivity, by lowering the energy barrier for the *CO → *CHO conversion step. The optimized Si‐doped Cu catalyst achieves a C2+

Experience of Virtual Help in a Simulated BCI Stroke Rehabilitation Serious Game and How to Measure It

open access: yesSensors
Designers of digital rehabilitation experiences can accommodate error-prone input devices like brain–computer interfaces (BCIs) by incorporating virtual help mechanisms to adjust the difficulty, but it is unclear on what grounds users are willing to ...

Microporous Microgel Assemblies Facilitating the Recruitment and Osteogenic Differentiation of Progenitor Cells for Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
There is a significant need for biomaterials with well‐defined stability and bioactivity to support tissue regeneration. In this study, we developed a tunable microgel platform that enables the decoupling of stiffness from porosity, thereby promoting bone regeneration.

Fermi Surface Nesting and Anomalous Hall Effect in Magnetically Frustrated Mn2PdIn

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Mn2PdIn, a frustrated inverse Heusler alloy, showing electronic‐structure driven anomalous Hall effect with Weyl crossings, Fermi‐surface nesting and near‐zero magnetization ideal for low‐magnetization spintronics. Abstract Noncollinear magnets with near‐zero net magnetization and nontrivial bulk electronic topology hold significant promise for ...
