Stabilization of echo amplitudes in FSE sequences

Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, 1993
AbstractThe classical CPMG sequence and its extension as an imaging sequence, fast spin echo (FSE, based on RARE), suffer from signal magnitude variations in the early echoes when the re‐focusing pulses are not set exactly to 180°. It has been suggested that by varying the value of the nutation angle of each refocusing pulse the signal magnitude could ...

Volumetric abdominal perfusion measurement using a pseudo‐randomly sampled 3D fast‐spin‐echo (FSE) arterial spin labeling (ASL) sequence and compressed sensing reconstruction

Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, 2019
To improve image quality and spatial coverage for abdominal perfusion imaging by implementing an arterial spin labeling (ASL) sequence that combines variable‐density 3D fast‐spin‐echo (FSE) with Cartesian trajectory and compressed‐sensing (CS ...

A 2× Blind Oversampling FSE Receiver with Combined Adaptive Equalization and Infinite-Range Timing Recovery

International Symposium on Security in Computing and Communications, 2018
A 2× blind-oversampling, fractionally-spaced equalizer (FSE) receiver is presented as an effective way to combine adaptive equalization and infinite-range timing recovery. A FSE can perform equalization as well as timing adjustment via data-interpolation

How reliable is MRCP with an SS-FSE sequence at 3.0 T: comparison between SS-FSE BH and 3D-FSE BH ASSET sequences

Clinical Imaging, 2013
The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the visibility and the image quality of the biliary and pancreatic duct system on magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) images based on two breath-hold (BH) methods using array spatial sensitivity technique: a single-shot fast spin-echo (SS-FSE) sequence and a three-dimensional single slab ...

Oral clonazepam sensitive focal status epilepticus (FSE)

The Indian Journal of Pediatrics, 1997
Focal status epilepticus (FSE) and Epilepsia partialis continua (EPC) are relatively uncommon disorders. Antiepileptic drugs do not usually alter the FSE-EPC. An 11 year old female patient with progressive neurologic deficits and FSE showed a remarkable response to clonazepam, both clinically and electrophysiologically.

Procedures for defining FSE standards

Computers & Chemistry, 1988
Abstract Formal steric enthalpies (FSE's) of a given class of molecules are defined in terms of FSE values assigned to standards. As an aid to selecting standard molecules and in determining appropriate FSE values for them, a procedure has been developed for the systematic generation of molecules that incorporate specified structural groups, for ...
