FTIR spectroscopy applied to woodflour
Composite Interfaces, 1996The features of infrared spectra of woodflour obtained by transmission and diffuse reflectance (DRIFT) are discussed. Intrinsic differences between the two techniques, as well as differences in sample preparation for transmission (pressed pellet) or DRIFT (simple mixing with powered KBr), affect the appearance of the spectra recorded.

Investigation of Lignins by FTIR Spectroscopy
Macromolecular Symposia, 2008AbstractSummary: Applying special computer mathematical treatments to increase resolution of experimental spectra there were established a set of stable characteristic bands for isolated softwood lignins. In the 740–1620 cm−1 spectral range the band maximum positions did not change but values of bandwidths and peak intensities were varied in limits 15%

Terahertz and FTIR spectroscopy of ‘Bisphenol A’
Journal of Molecular Structure, 2014Abstract Time domain terahertz (0.2–2 THz) and FTIR (400–4000 cm−1) spectra of ‘Bisphenol A’ are presented. An average refractive index of 1.34 from 0.2 to 2 THz and an absorption peak at 1.69 THz that is considered as the twisting of aromatic rings with hydroxyl groups along the shared carbon atom are found.

FTIR Spectroscopy of Flavin-Binding Photoreceptors
2014Light-induced difference Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy is a powerful, sensitive, and informative method to study structure-function relationships in photoreceptive proteins. Strong absorption of water in the IR region is always problematic in this method, but if water content in the sample is controlled during measurements, this method

Raman and FTIR spectroscopies of fluorescein in solutions
Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy, 2001Raman and Fourier transform-infra red (FT-IR) spectroscopies of fluorescein in aqueous solutions have been investigated in the pH range from 9.1 to 5.4. At pH 9.1 fluorescein is in the dianion form. At pH 5.4, fluorescein is a mixture of monoanion (approximately 85%), dianion and neutral forms (together approximately 15%).

In situ FTIR Spectroscopy of Polyaniline
1987The infrared absorption of electrochemically synthesized polyaniline is measured in situ during the electrochemical redox processes in non aqeous electrolytes with Fourier Transform (FTIR) technique. The first oxidation process is associated with a strong increase in the background absorption in addition to vibrational changes due to the benzenoid ...

2D-FTIR Spectroscopy of bacterioRhodopsin
AIP Conference Proceedings, 20002D-FTIR Spectroscopy was applied to study the slower states of the membrane protein bacterioRhodopsin (bR) photocycle, with the bR adsorbed on a ZnSe ATR-crystal. 2D-FTIR absorbance changes are presented in a more convenient way for analysis than in traditional 2D-FTIR spectroscopy.

Matrix FTIR spectroscopy of transient species
Annual Meeting Optical Society of America, 1989Matrix studies featuring the FTIR instrumental advantages of resolution and sensitivity for a finite amount of time are described. Ammonia clusters have a complicated spectrum in the N–H stretching region. One antisymmetric and two symmetric stretching modes in the dimer verify an asymmetric cyclic dimer structure.1 Chlorine isotopic splittings have ...
