Neutronic Simulation of Fuel Assembly Vibrations in a Nuclear Reactor
The mechanical vibrations of fuel assemblies have been shown to give rise to high levels of neutron noise, triggering in some circumstances the necessity to operate nuclear reactors at a reduced power level. This work simulates and analyses the effect in

Neutronics design of VVER-1000 fuel assembly with burnable poison particles
This paper presents neutronics design of VVER-1000 fuel assembly using burnable poison particles (BPPs) for controlling excess reactivity and pin-wise power distribution.

The paper describes the phenomenology of fuel rod behaviour in severe accident. As an example, an experiment is described resulting in severe damage of 19 fuel rod assembly of VVER type; it was carried out in the CORA facility in 1993 (Research Centre ...

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Dynamic response of a fuel assembly for a KSNP design earthquake
Using data from the design earthquake of the Korean standard nuclear power plant, seismic analyses of a fuel assembly are conducted in this study. The modal characteristics are used to develop an input deck for the seismic analysis.

Performance Analysis of Abradable Coating Systems for Aircraft Gas Turbines
Three CoNiCrAlY/YSZ/MgAl2O4 abradable liner configurations on a nickel‐superalloy are evaluated by thermal‐gradient cycling and incursion tests. Laser ablation of the bondcoat and/or Y2O3‐stabilized ZrO2 (YSZ) intermediate layer increases mechanical interlocking and bonding for thick topcoats.

Structural integrity assessment and stress measurement of CHASNUPP-1 fuel assembly
Fuel assembly of the PWR nuclear power plant is a long and flexible structure. This study has been made in an attempt to find the structural integrity of the fuel assembly (FA) of Chashma Nuclear Power Plant-1 (CHASNUPP-1) at room temperature in air. The
